Overview:
Within any business framework, data stands as the central element of decision-making processes, necessitating its availability in the appropriate format and at the right time. Whether assessing an application package, altering a business process, or transitioning physical platforms, data assumes a pivotal role. This course is designed to empower participants with the capability to identify, collect, and analyze requisite data for these tasks. It is imperative, however, to view data as just one facet among the eight dimensions of any system. While the course primarily delves into the data dimension, it also underscores the integration of data with other dimensions. The analysis and design of data extend to the Business, Application, and Environment/Platform architectural levels.
Encompassing the entire data dimension, this course spans from modelling logical business semantics to physical database design, incorporating optimisation parameters using DISCON's data work methods and techniques.
Mathematical data work methods and techniques are comprehensively explored in both theoretical and practical case study contexts. This course not only imparts theoretical knowledge but, more significantly, enables participants to promptly apply this understanding within their professional environments.
