The course elucidates the positioning of Object Orientation within the realm of Business Engineering and elucidates its significance for business professionals. Initially emerging at the technological stratum of systems, Object Orientation progressed to encompass programmable processes coded as objects in subsequent iterations. Presently, the focus has shifted towards business objects, accentuating a Business Engineering perspective within an Object-oriented framework. This approach facilitates the design of business objects in a manner that allows seamless replacement without significantly impacting the surrounding business operations.
